Whitni Toson  –  San Antonio Licensed Professional Counselor

Whitni-Toson-LPC-San-Antonio-CounselorI’m San Antonio counselor Whitni Toson, MA, LPC. I have over 10 years of experience serving in the human services field, and over 7 years in a therapeutic setting. I received my Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and I’m licensed by the State of Texas to practice therapy.

Using Solution-Focused or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I have worked with clients from various backgrounds, in areas such as anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, pre-marital, adolescents, perinatal and postpartum, and many other difficult life situations. I’m also certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Coming to my San Antonio/Helotes counseling office can not only help you redefine the expectations you have for yourself, but it can also help you establish loving relationships with others in your life.

I believe that everyone can achieve positive change and that we all have internal resources that just need to be discovered. I’ve helped many people transition from hopeless to hopeful, from dependent to independent, and from fearful to comfortable.

I am passionate about helping individuals find peace and learn new ways to reach their goals and aspirations. I work in partnership with my clients providing them a safe place to explore their thoughts, mutual respect, empathy, and compassion.

I will not lie to you and tell you that counseling is easy or a quick fix to all your problems, but I will tell you that counseling can be a catalyst for change. If you want to try something different, give counseling a try. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, and I will provide you with a brief phone consultation.
